Recommended this agency through a friend. We organised several tours through them, including the city tour, sacred valley tour, and rainbow mountain. All of these tours were slightly more expensive than other retailers were offering, but we were confident in the quality. Each involved transport (which tended to be late), and food and guidance as advertised. Guides were generally of a high quality.
We also organised a private driver for the day, who was excellent, taking us to Moray and Maras, and stopping en route to show us views and take photos.
Overall, a good service, good location – if you want easy trip arranging, this is idea
Travel Ruinas is just off the Plaza de Armas in Cusco, on the way to the Marriott Hotel. This is a real travel agency, not just one of those tourist traps that sells fake alpaca sweaters but will also book day trips from Cusco.
I used them to book a very satisfactory 3D/2N excursion to Puno and Lake Titicaca. I travel alone, and was a bit nervous about setting up that excursion. With Travel Ruinas it was simple and seamless. They took care of everything, from the initial pickup at my hotel in Cusco, through the bus trips, the hotel in Puno, and the boat excursion on the Lake. The hotel they booked for me (Hacienda Puno) was, by far, the nicest place I stayed in Peru. All the drivers were prompt. I felt very secure and was quite satisfied.
And, the cost of the whole thing was very comparable to doing all that set-up myself, and I would NOT have done as good a job.

I cannot say enough about Travel Ruinas and their staff. They went to great lengths to ensure our trip to Peru was memorable. Every details was accounted for including time to rest and tips to avoid altitude sickness.
Contact Romulo Mora at info@ruinascusco.com. He will arrange the itinerary to your liking and with absolute patience! I recommend a private tour with Walter as your guide in Machu Picchu and the Cusco Region. He brings the Inca History to life!
We also traveled to Lake Titicaca, where Travel Ruinas arranged a tour with the local agency Jumbo Travel. They too went out of their way to make sure our trip was memorable.
I simply can’t say enough about how well we were treated. Thank you Romulo and Travel Ruinas!
