Detailed Itinerary
04:30 a.m. – Pickup from Hotel in Cusco
We begin the journey early from Cusco toward the province of Canas in the southern highlands of Cusco.
07:00 a.m. – Breakfast Stop
Enjoy a traditional breakfast in a local village along the way to energize before arriving at the main site.
09:30 a.m. – Visit to Q’eswachaka Inca Bridge
Arrive at the legendary Q’eswachaka Bridge, suspended over the Apurímac River and entirely woven from ichu grass. Learn about its cultural significance and the ancestral technique used by local communities.
11:00 a.m. – Free Time
Walk across the bridge (optional), take photos, and enjoy the spectacular landscape. The guide will also share insights about the surrounding communities and Andean traditions.
12:00 p.m. – Return via Scenic Lagoons
On the return trip, we make brief stops at beautiful Andean lagoons such as Pampamarca, Acopia, Asnaqocha, and Pomacanchi.
14:00 p.m. – Lunch with a Local Family
Enjoy a delicious local lunch prepared with regional ingredients and warm hospitality from a nearby community.
17:00 p.m. – Return to Cusco
We arrive back in Cusco by late afternoon and drop you off at your hotel or central location.
